Sharpe was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the 1990 NFL Draft. He played for the Broncos from 1990 to 1999 and again in 2002 and 2003, winning three Super Bowls. He also played for the Baltimore Ravens from 2000 to 2001, winning another Super Bowl. After retiring from the NFL, Sharpe became a sports analyst, initially with CBS Sports and later joining Fox Sports 1 in 2015 to co-host "Skip and Shannon: Undisputed" with Skip Bayless.
