Ningning Ning

Ningning (닝닝) is a Chinese singer and member of the South Korean girl group aespa, formed by SM Entertainment. Known for her powerful vocals, she serves as the group's main vocalist. She debuted with aespa in November 2020 with the single "Black Mamba."

Early Life

Ningning was born Ning Yizhuo (宁艺卓) on October 23, 2002, in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China. She participated in several singing competitions in China before moving to South Korea to train at SM Entertainment.

Career

Ningning was introduced as a member of SM Rookies in 2016. She debuted as a member of aespa in November 2020. The group quickly gained popularity for their unique concept involving virtual avatars and their experimental music style. As the main vocalist, Ningning's strong vocals are a key element of aespa's sound.
