Giselle Aeri

Giselle Aeri (born October 30, 2000) is a Japanese rapper, singer, and dancer based in South Korea. She is a member of the South Korean girl group aespa, formed by SM Entertainment. Known for her fluent English, Japanese, and Korean, Giselle contributes a distinct rap style to the group's diverse sound.

Early Life

Giselle was born in Garosu-gil, Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. She attended the International School of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo, Japan, and later graduated from Seoul International School. She was part of a choir for several years, showcasing her early interest in music.

Career

Giselle joined SM Entertainment through the Saturday audition and trained for 11 months, the shortest training period among the aespa members. She debuted as a member of aespa in November 2020 with the single "Black Mamba." Her rap skills are a prominent feature in aespa's music, and she has also participated in songwriting for the group.
