Emilio Delgado

Emilio Delgado (1940-2022) was a Mexican-American actor, singer, and voice artist best known for his role as Luis Rodriguez on the children's television program Sesame Street. He portrayed the character for over four decades, becoming a beloved figure for generations of viewers.

Born in Calexico, California, and raised in Mexicali, Mexico, Delgado began performing at a young age. He pursued his passion for acting, eventually moving to Los Angeles.
