Chuck Todd

Chuck Todd is a prominent American television journalist and political analyst best known for his role as moderator of NBC's "Meet the Press." He has also served as NBC News' political director and hosted "The Daily Rundown" and "MTP Daily."

Early Life

Born Charles David Todd on April 8, 1972, in Miami, Florida, he developed an early interest in political campaigns and journalism. He studied music at Miami Killian Senior High School and later political science at George Washington University, though he did not graduate.

Career

Todd's career began with part-time work at The Hotline, a political tip sheet, in 1992. He eventually became editor-in-chief. He joined NBC News in 2007, serving as political director and contributing to various programs. In 2014, he became moderator of "Meet the Press," succeeding David Gregory. He has also hosted shows like "The Daily Rundown" and "MTP Daily."

Personal Life

Chuck Todd is married to Kristian Denny Todd, a communications professional and co-founder of Maverick Strategies and Mail. They have two children.
