Casey Luong, known professionally as keshi, is a Vietnamese-American singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist known for his soulful vocals and lo-fi, indie-pop sound. He gained popularity independently online before signing with Island Records. His music often explores themes of love, loss, and self-discovery.

Early Life

Casey Luong was raised in Houston, Texas. He learned to play the guitar at age 12, inspired by his grandfather. He began writing songs in his teens, drawing inspiration from John Mayer.

Career

While working as an oncology nurse, Luong began releasing music online under the moniker keshi, a tribute to his Vietnamese heritage. He built a significant following through platforms like SoundCloud and Spotify, releasing several EPs including "The Reaper" and "skeletons." In 2020, he signed with Island Records and subsequently released his debut album "GABRIEL" in 2022. He has toured internationally, performing at festivals like Coachella.
