Ben McKee

Ben McKee is the bassist for the American rock band Imagine Dragons. He joined the band in 2009 and has been a key part of their success, contributing to their distinctive sound and playing on all their studio albums.

Early Life

Ben McKee grew up in Forestville, California. He attended Berklee College of Music where he met future bandmates Wayne Sermon and Daniel Platzman.

Career

McKee joined Imagine Dragons in 2009 after being invited by Wayne Sermon. He replaced former bassist Andrew Tolman. He has played bass on all of Imagine Dragons' studio albums, including Night Visions, Smoke + Mirrors, Evolve, Origins, and Mercury – Acts 1 & 2. McKee is known for his melodic bass lines and energetic stage presence.
