Bahiyyih Huening

Bahiyyih Huening, known mononymously as Bahiyyih, is a Korean-American singer and member of the girl group Kep1er, formed through Mnet's survival show Girls Planet 999. She gained attention for her vocal talent and stage presence, capturing a dedicated fanbase.

Early Life

Born on July 27, 2004, Bahiyyih Huening grew up in a musical family. Her father, Nabil David Huening, is a Brazilian-American musician, and her older sister, Lea, is a former member of the girl group VIVA, while her younger brother, Kai, is a member of the boy group TXT. This upbringing exposed her to diverse musical influences from a young age.

Career

Bahiyyih's career began in 2021 when she participated in Mnet's Girls Planet 999. Throughout the show, she showcased her vocal abilities and performance skills, ultimately ranking second and securing a spot in the final lineup of Kep1er. The group debuted in January 2022 with their mini-album First Impact and the title track "WA DA DA." Since then, Kep1er has released several mini-albums and singles, establishing themselves in the K-Pop scene.

Bahiyyih is known for her multilingualism, proficient in Korean, English, and Chinese. She is also skilled in playing the ukulele.
