Andrew Ross Sorkin

Andrew Ross Sorkin is a financial columnist, author, and co-anchor of CNBC's "Squawk Box." He is also a financial columnist for The New York Times and the founder and editor-at-large of DealBook, a financial news website.

Early Life

Born in New York City in 1977, Sorkin grew up in Scarsdale, New York. He developed an interest in business and finance at a young age.

Career

Sorkin began his career at The New York Times in 1996. He became a mergers and acquisitions reporter, eventually launching DealBook in 2001. In 2012, he joined CNBC as co-anchor of "Squawk Box." He has also authored several books, including the bestselling Too Big to Fail, which chronicled the 2008 financial crisis.
