Career

Frusciante first joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1988, following the death of guitarist Hillel Slovak. He debuted on the album Mother's Milk and achieved widespread recognition with the breakthrough success of Blood Sugar Sex Magik. He left the band in 1992, embarking on a solo career and battling personal struggles. He rejoined in 1998, contributing to key albums like Californication, By the Way, and Stadium Arcadium. Frusciante departed again in 2009, focusing on electronic music and solo projects. He rejoined the band once more in 2019, leading to the albums Unlimited Love and Return of the Dream Canteen.
