Chaeyoung Son

Son Chaeyoung, known mononymously as Chaeyoung, is a South Korean rapper, singer, and songwriter. She is a member of the popular K-pop girl group TWICE, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015. Known for her distinctive rapping style and artistic talents, Chaeyoung has contributed to TWICE's music through songwriting and rap-making.

Early Life

Born on April 23, 1999, in Seoul, South Korea, Chaeyoung developed an interest in performing arts at a young age. She attended Hanlim Multi Art School, focusing on practical music.

Career

Chaeyoung joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee in 2012. In 2015, she participated in the survival show Sixteen and was selected as one of the nine members to debut in TWICE. Since then, she has been an integral part of the group, contributing to their numerous hit songs and albums. She is also credited as a songwriter and composer for several TWICE tracks.
