Early Life
Born in Mercer, Pennsylvania, Reznor learned piano at a young age. He studied classical music and played saxophone and tuba in high school bands. After graduating, he attended Allegheny College briefly before dropping out to pursue a career in music.
Career
Reznor formed Nine Inch Nails in 1988. The band achieved international success with their second album, The Downward Spiral (1994), and has continued to release influential albums throughout their career. Beyond Nine Inch Nails, Reznor has also composed scores for films like The Social Network (2010) and Gone Girl (2014), often collaborating with Atticus Ross.
