Career
Following his Canadian Idol appearance, Hoggard formed Hedley with other musicians. The band released several successful albums, including self-titled debut Hedley (2005), Famous Last Words (2007), The Show Must Go (2009), Storms (2011), Wild Life (2013), and Hello (2017). They achieved numerous top 10 hits in Canada. Hoggard's career with Hedley ended in 2018 following sexual misconduct allegations.

Hoggard married Rebekah Asselstine in 2016. In 2022, he was found guilty of sexual assault causing bodily harm.
