Early Life
Born July 14, 1987, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Reynolds is the seventh of nine children. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served a two-year mission in Nebraska. He attended Brigham Young University where he studied music.
Career
Reynolds formed Imagine Dragons in Provo, Utah, in 2008. The band gained a following in their hometown before relocating to Las Vegas. They signed with Interscope Records in 2011 and released their debut album, Night Visions, in 2012, which achieved international success. The band has since released several more albums, including Smoke + Mirrors, Evolve, Origins, Mercury – Act 1, and Mercury – Act 2, and LOOM. Reynolds is the band's primary songwriter and lyricist.
Personal Life
Reynolds married Aja Volkman in 2011. They have four children. He has been open about his struggles with ankylosing spondylitis, an autoimmune disease, and has become an advocate for raising awareness about the condition.

Imagine Dragons has won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance and has been nominated for several other awards, including American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards.
