Early Life
Born Pranpriya Manobal on March 27, 1997, in Buriram Province, Thailand, she later legally changed her name to Lalisa. From a young age, Lisa showed an aptitude for performing arts, participating in dance competitions and singing contests. She was the only individual accepted into YG Entertainment's auditions in Thailand in 2010, subsequently moving to South Korea in 2011 to begin her five-year training period.
Career
Lisa debuted as a member of Blackpink in August 2016 with the release of their single album "Square One." She is the group's main dancer, lead rapper, and sub vocalist. Beyond her contributions to Blackpink's music, Lisa has also ventured into solo work, releasing her debut single album "Lalisa" in September 2021. She has also served as a dance mentor on the Chinese survival show "Youth With You" in seasons 2 and 3.
