Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr and captains the Portugal national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, Ronaldo has won five Ballon d'Or awards and four European Golden Shoes, the most by a European player. He has won 32 trophies in his career, including seven league titles, five UEFA Champions Leagues, the UEFA European Championship and the UEFA Nations League.

Early Life

Born and raised in Madeira, Portugal, Ronaldo began his youth career at Nacional before joining Sporting CP in 2002.

Career

Ronaldo's senior career began at Sporting CP before he joined Manchester United in 2003 at age 18. He won the FA Cup in his first season and helped United win three successive Premier League titles, the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. In 2009, he transferred to Real Madrid for a then world record fee. At Real Madrid, Ronaldo won 15 trophies, including two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey titles and four Champions League titles, becoming the club's all-time top goalscorer. He joined Juventus in 2018, winning two Serie A titles, before returning to Manchester United in 2021. In 2023, he signed with Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo is the father of five children.
