Caleb Followill is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the American rock band Kings of Leon. Known for his distinctive southern drawl and powerful vocals, he has co-written many of the band's hit songs, contributing significantly to their Grammy-winning success.

Early Life

Caleb Followill was born January 14, 1982, in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. He is the youngest of three brothers, Nathan and Jared Followill, who are also members of Kings of Leon. Raised in a Pentecostal family, their father was a traveling preacher, and the brothers spent much of their childhood on the road.

Career

Caleb Followill formed Kings of Leon with his brothers in 1999. He serves as the band's primary songwriter, alongside his cousin Matthew Followill. The band has released eight studio albums, achieving international acclaim with hits like "Sex on Fire," "Use Somebody," and "Waste a Moment." Caleb's raw vocals and stage presence have become synonymous with the band's signature sound.
