
Brendon Boyd Urie (born April 12, 1987) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist and only remaining member of Panic! at the Disco, which he joined in 2004. Urie possesses a four-octave tenor vocal range. He also plays a variety of instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and piano.

Early Life
Born in St. George, Utah, Urie was raised in a Mormon household, the fifth and youngest child of Grace and Boyd Urie. He worked at a Tropical Smoothie Cafe to help pay rent for band practice space. He met future bandmate Brent Wilson in high school guitar class.
Career
Urie initially joined Panic! at the Disco as their guitarist. After original vocalist Ryan Ross left, Urie took over lead vocals. The band achieved mainstream success with their debut album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (2005), featuring the hit single "I Write Sins Not Tragedies." Subsequent albums like Pretty. Odd. (2008), Vices & Virtues (2011), Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! (2013), Death of a Bachelor (2016), and Pray for the Wicked (2018) showcased Urie's evolving musical style and songwriting. In 2023, Urie announced the band's disbandment to focus on his family.
Personal Life
Urie married Sarah Orzechowski in 2013. They welcomed their first child in 2023. Urie has openly discussed his experiences with anxiety and panic attacks.
