Alejandro Sanz

Early Life

Born Alejandro Sánchez Pizarro on December 18, 1968, in Madrid, Spain, Sanz grew up in a musical family. He started playing the guitar at the age of seven and began composing his own songs as a teenager.

Career

Sanz released his debut album, Viviendo Deprisa, in 1991, which became a massive success in Spain and Latin America. He followed it up with several other hit albums, including Más (1997), El Alma al Aire (2000), and No Es Lo Mismo (2003). He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Shakira, Alicia Keys, and Destiny's Child.
