Ronnie

Ronnie Wood, born 1 June 1947, is an English rock musician, songwriter, and artist best known as a member of the Rolling Stones since 1975. He has also played with the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces.

Early Life

Ronald David Wood was born in Hillingdon, Middlesex, England, into a musical family of barge-dwelling "water gypsies." He began playing guitar as a child.

Career

Before joining the Rolling Stones, Wood played with the Birds, the Creation, the Jeff Beck Group, and the Faces. He officially joined the Rolling Stones in 1975, contributing guitar, backing vocals, and songwriting. He has also pursued a solo career, releasing several albums.

Personal Life

Wood has been married three times and has six children. He is also a known visual artist, with his work exhibited internationally.
