Career
Johnson began his career at KNDO/KNDU in the Tri-Cities, Washington. He later worked as a reporter and anchor at KSL-TV in Salt Lake City, Utah. He joined KNTV in San Jose, California, in 2007 as a reporter and anchor. In 2012, Johnson joined ABC News as a correspondent based in San Francisco. He became co-anchor of World News Now and America This Morning in 2014. He was named co-anchor of ABC News Live Prime in 2021 and weekend anchor of World News Tonight in 2021.
