Career
Muir began his television career at WTVH-TV in Syracuse. He later worked as an anchor and reporter at WCVB television in Boston before joining ABC News in 2003. He served as anchor of ABC News' World News Now and later co-anchored 20/20. In 2014, he succeeded Diane Sawyer as anchor and managing editor of ABC World News Tonight.
