Vinnie Fiorello

Vinnie Fiorello is best known as the co-founder and former drummer of the ska punk band Less Than Jake, and the co-founder of the record label Fueled By Ramen. He played a significant role in the development and success of both, contributing to the popularization of the ska punk genre and launching the careers of numerous successful artists.

Early Life

Vinnie Fiorello grew up in Gainesville, Florida. He developed a passion for music early on and became involved in the local music scene.

Career

Fiorello co-founded Less Than Jake in 1992, serving as the band's drummer and primary lyricist. In 1996, he co-founded Fueled By Ramen, initially operating the label out of his University of Florida dorm room. Fueled By Ramen signed and helped launch the careers of bands like Fall Out Boy, Paramore, and Panic! At The Disco, becoming one of the most successful independent record labels. Fiorello left Less Than Jake in 2020.
