Career
Zauner began her musical career playing drums in various bands before forming Japanese Breakfast as a solo project. The project evolved into a full band, gaining recognition for their dreamy, shoegaze-influenced sound and introspective lyrics. They have released several albums, including Psychopomp, Soft Sounds from Another Planet, and Jubilee. Zauner also composed the soundtrack for the video game Sable.
