Dennis Prager

Dennis Prager is an American conservative political commentator, radio talk show host, writer, and public speaker. He is the founder of PragerU, a non-profit organization that creates videos on various political, economic, and philosophical topics from a conservative perspective.

Early Life

Born on August 2, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York, Prager grew up in a Modern Orthodox Jewish home. He attended Yeshiva of Flatbush before pursuing higher education at Brooklyn College and Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.

Career

Prager's career began in the 1970s with work at various Jewish organizations. He gained prominence as a radio talk show host, eventually syndicating his program nationally. He is also a prolific writer, authoring several books on topics ranging from religion to politics. In 2009, he co-founded PragerU with Allen Estrin. The organization produces short videos presented by various personalities, promoting conservative viewpoints.

Prager has been married three times and has children. He is openly religious and often incorporates his beliefs into his commentary.
