Hoda Kotb is an American broadcast journalist, television personality, and author. She is best known as a co-anchor of NBC's TODAY show and co-host of its fourth hour. Early Life

Hoda Kotb was born on August 9, 1964, in Norman, Oklahoma, and spent part of her childhood in Egypt. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in broadcast journalism.

Career

Kotb's early career included local news reporting and anchoring positions. She joined NBC News in 1998 as a correspondent for Dateline NBC. In 2007, she joined the TODAY show as a co-host of its fourth hour, and in 2018, she became a co-anchor of the main broadcast.

Personal Life

Kotb is a mother to two adopted daughters. She has publicly shared her experiences with breast cancer and her journey through adoption.
