Dahyun Kim

Dahyun Kim, known mononymously as Dahyun, is a South Korean singer and rapper. She is a member of the popular K-pop girl group TWICE, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015. Known for her energetic performances and bright personality, Dahyun has gained a significant following since her debut.

Early Life

Dahyun was born on May 28, 1996, in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, South Korea. She gained attention in elementary school for her "eagle dance" which went viral online, leading to her being scouted by JYP Entertainment. She subsequently joined the company as a trainee.

Career

Dahyun participated in the reality survival show Sixteen in 2015, where she showcased her talents and eventually earned a spot in the final lineup of TWICE. The group debuted in October 2015 with the mini-album The Story Begins. Within TWICE, Dahyun is one of the rappers and sub-vocalists. She is also known for her variety skills and frequently appears on entertainment programs.
