Conan O'Brien

Conan O'Brien is an American comedian, writer, producer, and television host known for his late-night talk shows, including "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien," and "Conan." His comedic style blends self-deprecating humor, absurdist sketches, and remote segments.

Early Life

Conan Christopher O'Brien was born on April 18, 1963, in Brookline, Massachusetts. He was raised in a large Irish Catholic family. He served as president of the Harvard Lampoon while attending Harvard University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in History & Literature.

Career

Before hosting his own shows, O'Brien wrote for "Saturday Night Live" and "The Simpsons." He became the host of "Late Night" in 1993, succeeding David Letterman. He later hosted "The Tonight Show" briefly in 2009-2010. From 2010 to 2021, he hosted "Conan" on TBS. He currently hosts the podcast "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend" and other content on his Team Coco network.

Personal Life

Conan O'Brien married Liza Powel O'Brien in 2002. They have two children.

O'Brien has won four Emmy Awards, including three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Program and one Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media.
