Early Life
Born January 15, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, Shapiro skipped two grades and graduated from high school at 16. He then attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, and from Harvard Law School in 2007.
Career
Shapiro became a nationally syndicated columnist at age 17 and authored his first book at 21. He has written several books, including Brainwashed: How Universities Steal America's Future and The Right Side of History. In 2012, he became editor-at-large of Breitbart News, leaving in 2016. He co-founded The Daily Wire in 2015 and hosts The Ben Shapiro Show, a daily political podcast and live radio show. He also frequently appears on television and gives lectures at college campuses.
